Tech & Learning magazine has announced a new Awards of Excellence program, “The Best Tools for Remote & Blended Teaching & Learning,” as a way to celebrate the most impressive products and solutions that have shone during the challenges of the last year.
Technology solutions have been key to helping schools transition to remote, hybrid, and blended learning environments. Eligible products include hardware, software, curriculum, security/safety solutions, PD, student information systems, and more. Any product that has helped to support effective teaching and learning practices throughout the pandemic will be considered for this new award.

Nominee and Winner logos will be distributed for use on social media and in promotion in Future brands. Winners will have the opportunity to purchase the logo license for use in product marketing and collateral.

Winning an Award of Excellence tells the industry that your product has been approved by the most important audience - the educators themselves. The top products will be selected and featured in a special edition of Tech&Learning reaching over 64,000 edtech professionals

The categories are broken down into Primary (Tools for K-6 grade education), Secondary (7-12) and Higher Ed. You can enter the same product into multiple categories.
Yes. There is no limit to the number of products you may nominate. Each requires a nomination form and entry fee(s).
Entries will be passed through a panel of Tech & Learning advisors. Evaluation criteria includes:
- How does your product support teaching/learning
- Price value
- Suitability for use
Winners will be announced in February 2021 and featured in a special issue of Tech&Learning.
